Default Broken drive shaft- What to buy.

SO i blew out the driveshaft tonight. Took the car out for a quick spin just before a race to make sure everything was alright powershift 1-2 great grab 3rd and BOOM no more driveshaft, it broke right on the weld. What to replace it with? i had an aluminum. Im kinda leaning towards the spohn TopGun. Any input from you guys would be great.

Check into a PST, I haven't run mine yet but they seem to have a good reputation. Check with Bob @ EPP they sell them.

I broke a Lingenfelter driveshaft about three years ago at our local track. They still use a conversion u joint (1330 to 1350) with their driveshaft and I snapped it right off at this conversion u joint. I dumped the clutch at 4000 rpm at the starting line, the driveshaft snapped taking out my Hooker cat back, and I never tripped the staging beams. I then went to the PST driveshaft and I never had another problem. Bob

I'd go with the Spohn extreme duty. http://www.spohn.net/shop/1998-2002-...nsmission.html
