Default any diy turbo kits....??? gen5 camaro

Im looking to buy a gen5 ss camaro and wondering if truck manifolds can be used flipped for a diy turbo setup? Id consider doing twins if I can do it myself with truck or stock manifolds.

Opinions, ideas, pics or suggestions? ?? Will run holley intake e85 flexfuel, custom turbo cam and a manual trans.

There are at least 3 kits that run low mounted turbos retaining the factory exhaust manifolds

No need for truck manifolds or flipping anything. The wheel in this instance has been invented and works well

Yes, in exactly the same way AGP, IPS, Hellion and DKT have already been doing for a few years.

I built one years ago.....and ironically have the car now for a fuel system. I did a high mounted 76, cause i dont like oil pumps either if you can avoid them. I used one stock manifold on the passenger side to a (flipped manifold from another vehicle) and did a crossover underneath......just like a grand national but the turbo is on the driverside.

I never persured building more after I did the jig though cause everyone was too afraid with their waranttees.....so I ve been thinking about setting up the jig since many are coming out of warrantee now.

The car was a stock l99 , stock convertor and was fabulous...now its on steroids....but still stock convertor, ls9 cam and drives like stock with double the power. Makes mid 600's and could use a bigger turbo.

I was cleaning up the shop and ran across some pieces....I ran a cross over off the pass side and back up under this manifold. It keeps the cost down and makes good power...and a pretty good way to go, if your not into spending, just as much on the trans too

We are currently working on one now using a single turbonetics 78/75 and both stock manifolds. Keeps everything in place too.
