Default Magnuson blower

I've got a 2010 Hennessey 600 Camaro that I have up to 700 hp right now. I am looking for 1000hp.

I have been told the Magnuson I have won't handle it, but what about the new one? Anyone heard anything on it?

Call Andy at ADM Performance in Lewisville, TX. He has done several Heartbeat setups.

Which Magnuson are you running? Is it a TVS? Are you looking for 1000 at the crank or RWHP?

Yes the mp2300 tvs kit.

I would settle for 1000 at the crank for now but would like a little room for the next time.

The jackshaft 2300 you have should be capable of just over 1000. Benefits of that unit is the amount of setup that you can achieve with the jackshaft system.

http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/...-supercharger/

The 2300 can move a lot of air, more air and higher efficiency than a 2.9 - a 2.9L was also tested on this same engine above and it was unable to achieve 1000 HP

The integrated Heartbeats have more intercooler and a better flow path, but it might be difficult to get the necessary step-up for over 1000 with the single belt system.

So, you currently have enough blower to reach the 1000HP mark, but you will need a different option if you want to go much higher.

Hope that helps!

Damn that is a nice setup. So compact and clean compared to the ProCharger type deals.

I had the stock bottom end LS3 in my '10 making 748rwhp on a very stingy mustang dyno. I broke a lifter and I'm currently having the motor forged and will be maxing out the rpm on the maggie. I doubt I'll see 1000rwhp, but I think I'll break the 1000 crank hp.

Keep the rotors at or below 21K rpm or you will actually loose power.
