Default ZL1 tire alternatives

While researching tires, I came across an article from a while back that had stated that GM was holding back delivery of ZL1s and 1lEs due to the Goodyear Supercar tires potential unsafe performance in cold weather. I am experiencing this first hand. Talk about traction issues. They are like Power Wheels tires when it's cold. Does anyone know of alternative tires that still have a Y rating?

I hated the stock Goodyears. I switched to MT Street Comps and really like them for regular driving and they're pretty cheap as well.

Finally! I found some cheap all season Y rated tires. Toyo Proxes 4 plus. I would have to adjust the sizes to a 275/40 in the front and a 315/35 for the rear. They are the same diameter. It seems that only like 3 companies make exact fits and other than the F1G2s most are much more $. Continental and BFG are now making some but good luck finding them in stock. Ultimately, I decided to continue with summers due to relatively mild winters. I chose the Falken 453s in the size above. The UTOG is 300AAAvso slightly longer wear. I have run it's predecessor the 452 on my SRT and loved them. I can replace them twice for the price of the others.

Going with BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S on MRR 228 wheels in factory zl1 spec for daily use. Tires were delivered the other day. I've heard nothing but good reviews and the price was nice from tire rack.

I would like feedback on this too, I go through a set of Goodyears every 12-18 months. We don't get snow here but we do have some good rains so wet traction is definitely an issue.
