Why do your valve covers say 454 if it's a 427?

17.5 psi.
no pump gas here, using vp ms-109

To be fair that's not technically the street. Looks more like a parking lot with the floor jack mod

I would expect 8s by time its ironed out with traction and the belt making the full pass
Very simular set up that put the first GTO in the 8s other than the gas he was on pump gas. this is a proven set up for a FAST and reliable ride Congrads

LOL Its spun at the track, but pulled the wheels 3 foot on the street? On blacktop at that... Nice photoshop skills lol. Nice car, hopefully you get it lined out.

I had the same problem with cog belts breaking and shreading until i got a brace from jakesperformancefabrication.com.
He also makes a great belt guard to keep from messing up your hood.

Use a straight edge from across your crank pulley to across your sc pulley and adjust the bracket till zero.
I kept a couple extra belts in my trunk till I figured this out.
