Default 427 Camaro

i went the the dallas auto show, and there was a red camaro, with 427 badges and the ls7 stuffed in it.... is this just a concept or is this to be made?

i take it you mean the "new" camaro...i havn't heard about it but if they can hook up a cts with a serious motor i don't see why the camaro couldn't have one. unless the economy screws things up. either way i see someone cramming on in there on their own.

It was just a concept for the SEMA show. That would be cool if they did offer it though.

I'm curious about that car. GM says it makes 550 HP? Why not just slap on the Eaton 4 lobe from the ZR1? Isnt that LS7 really expensive to build?

The 5th GEN Z-28 is going to have that set up.

I would rather have an LS7 than an LSA. I will buy a regular LS3 car...but I would shell out extra dough for an LS7 camaro.

I would have bought a new Camaro if you had the option of and LS7 power plant.

Naw ls7 not fast enough........Trick it..lets put a damn jet engine in it and call it a day! Then you can litterly Burn the competition away!

I saw this car also today. I can tell you that it looks better in person than any of the pictures or the concepts.

It would be awesome if they made a specific model camaro with the LS7 in it. It would be unique and sick!

427 C5R engines built by GMMG for limited production 2002 camaros 630 HP/ 600-lb-ft-torque 427 LS6 sold through Berger Chevrolet. comp. ratio 12.0:1
