Local dealer announcement....... One of my best friends works at the chevy dealer where i live and the dealer principal held a dealership meeting the other day he was telling me and said they are slated to recieve a Camaro SS by the end of the year that is to have an LS7 with a six speed with a sticker price around 42000. I don't know if he's full of crap or if anyone on here who works at a chevy dealer might be hearing similar rumors flying around their dealerships?

All dealerships have weekly dealership meetings. Normally they become an *** chewing session. I see it very odd any dealer, owner, would hold a dealership meeting with employees. But perhaps they do things differently in Missouri than Ohio where I sell Chevrolets. And have been told I can order my SS as soon as the information is made public.
Missouri is the SHOW ME STATE, right?

Hell, it didn't print your 40 Corvette experienceI have a question for you. How many 35th. Anniversary Camaro and 50th. Anniversary Corvette catalog's do you have in your possession? If you possess those in my eyes you're also be a CHEVROLET enthusiast.
You have me beat how many GM rings with Chevrolet emblems and diamonds do you own?

I have 3 of the 35th anni Camaro brochures (not for sale ) and three full boxes of the 50th anni Corvette brochures..(they will be for sale in a few years) ..looks like I qualify now..been Corvetteing since 1962 ..

Indeed, you're qualified. Not for sale, ok. You did give them out to friends? Does your dealership participate with the ring? 40 years in the business you should working on your third. 14 spots for the diamond one year to qualify.

The guy is full of it....but production has already started in the Monte Carlo facility up north. My source is coming from a guy that works in a GM plant. Just an FYI....
