Trailer your F-body/hot rod

Trailer your F-body/hot rod
Well I was looking at several trailer companies for car trailers. I was just wondering what brand of trailer are you guys/girls using to transport your car. What length and options did you get? What should you look for in a trailer for trailer ur baby. I have a Pace Motorcyle trailer now, and was going to trade that in on my car trailer. Tandem axles for sure.
Thanks
Thanks

Generally the f bodies I have seen have been on the dual axle car haulers with the dove tail with pull out ramps......I have seen them in like 16-19 feet.

Bri-Mar makes some badass open car haulers! the center section is open which makes working under the car a breeze, especially for last minute adjustments at the track

I have a Diamond Trailers 18ft tandem axle with 4 ft dovetail. make sure you get something with a dovetail and long ramps. You need all the help you can get loading these fbodys with the front bumpers out as far as they are in front of the wheels

theres a couple tricks I use to help with the loading and unloading though.
Trying to find higher ground for the car to load from works well like pulling the truck and trailer off a raised road into a parking lot and backing the trailer up to the edge so the trailer is sitting in low ground but the ramps end up on the high area. makes the incline alot less steep. I also usually use the tongue jack to raise the front of the trailer up while attached to the truck which lowers the rear and decreases the ramp incline. and like i said the longer the ramps the better

keep in mind, if its a dovetail, and big enough, angle of the ramps may not be enough. my trailer is extreme for a car, just givin a heads up. if the angle of the deck and dove is too sharp, the car can bottom out when the back tires get off the ramps and onto the dove. we tried to put my buddy's camaro on it. there werent any slopes or anything around. 2 guys lifting on the fenders was enough to get the front on the ramps. got the front end on top of the deck and the back tires were on the ramps. we put floorjacks under the ramps to lessen the angle (we thought we were bein really smart). as soon as the back tires made it onto the dovetail, the bottom drug. sorry if that doesnt make any sense.....just dont buy a deckover and u'll be good

If you are going with an open trailer, and I assume budget isn't too limited if you are considering Featherlite, check out Texas Rollback trailers. The badest thing I've seen and I have intentions of picking one up this year.
Google it...there is a place called Cooper Corvettes that has a video showing how they work. Didn't want to post a link to a non-sponsor site you know
