Default LQ4 SWAP question

OK. just did an lq4 swap in my 02 trans am. rebuilt the lq4 short block. reused the old ls1 heads and had them milled 20thou to raise cr. installed the Z06 cam the specs;
Dur. @ 0.050 I/E: 204 / 218
Camshaft Type: Hydraulic Roller
Lobe Seperation Angle: 117.5
Rocker Arm Ratio: 1.7
Type: Hydraulic Roller
Adv. Duration I / E: 270 / 282
Basic RPM Range: 2200 - 6300
Valve Lift (in.): .551 / .547
i replaced the valve springs and pushrods for this as well. also it has the ls6 intake and the throttle body is ported. also 1 3/4''long tubes and 3'' y-pipe and it's tuned by carolina auto masters.
this combination only made 362hp/367 torque. so does anyone have any idea where i went wrong? because something just seems odd about this to me.

Yea.. idk much but im gonna go with the stock ls1 heads and the stock z06 cam is holding you back big time..

with a wild cam you should make at least 420ish whp and with a good set of heads closer to 475ish whp and maybe more im not sure

but deff heads and cam is where you went wrong.

i got a buddy who has a set of ls2 heads i'm saving up for $225. great deal! so now i just gotta decide weather or not to keep the z06 cam or get another one. Idk what kinda pwr this cam is capable of making. I just know that my car has alot more low end torque than what it used to when it had the ls1 with a bigger but unkown cam. but that old settup made 381rwhp/366rwtq yet my car feels faster with less horse pwr? wtf!?! does any know what would be a good cam for the lq4 w/ls2 heads?

The problem was having Creech tune your car. He is a notoriously bad tuner. I am kinda surprised he is still in business... You have a couple of good options there in the Triangle....

EDIT. Just saw you are from Charleston and wondering how you ended up getting the car tuned in Durham??

a friend of mine heard that he was supposed to be one of the best around so I went to him. the other thing is that I only had to pay for the full tune once. after that, if i change anything and need the tune done again then i only pay him a maintenance fee for as long as i own the car.

Google him and read this>>> https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagn...onal-tune.html I also know two guys who got lousy tunes from him the worst case being a GTO that ran lean and trashed the motor,,,
