Default painted blocks?

Hey guys

So I'm gonna be freshening up my lq4 pretty soon and it crossed my mind about painting the block a different color and was wondering what everyone's done to theirs?

Pics would be great!

Paint the Block and intake Red to match the Car !

Yeah, I was thinking red, Chevy red Orange, or possibly grey metallic

I did my block and IM red in my old lt1. Looked great and was easy.

yeah, hint "freshening up the motor" haha but yeah its out. the main thing is decided what color to go with seeing that its not something that color can be easily changed. anyone got any pics of a red engine in a red engine bay?

i planned on painting my gto coil pack covers a cleared red with some flat black

Thats Pontiac blue Right? Either way that looks sweet!! I was thinking of detailing me engine before i threw it in my Grand Prix silver BUT Pontiac blue looks more appropiate now..lol! What did you use to degrease and prep the block and intake?

its not mine, but if i remember correctly it was basically brand new block. Yes it is pontiac blue



its a great color, its different

you painted a chevy motor pontiac blue...its a proven fact that it now makes 100 less hp. lmfao.

And makes 200 lb-ft more torque. And it's a corporate motor...see the Pontiac that it's placed in? Yeah, those had LS engines too.
