Default Zmax yes or no?

Has anyone ever used zmax or seen results that would actually prove that it works?

Wow!! That's pretty bad. The gov't is so slow to move on things, this must be really blatant.

What really stuns me is that Ken Herring is now pushing the stuff on Pass Time. I thought Ken was better than that.

It's all about money and advertising, and from what I've heard Ken Herring is a dousche.

Thats hillarious that people still fall for these Gimicks.

They always show Pictures of Extreme wear of an engine that is sevral years old and was not taken care of using regular Dino oil versus and engine that only run on a dyno with proper oil changes...

If you read the fine print Zmax clearly states that the results acheived were from an engine that was assembled from scratch using Zmax additive in the assembly lube. It took over 3 days to achieve a 6HP increase... People Claim more then that by switching to synthetic oils such as amsoil or Royal Purple.
In fact whos to say there wasn't a slight difference in parts used between the 2 Engines used.

Here is the qoute from Zmax's own Site...

Here are several examples of how zMAX has operated on Dynamometers:

On our IRL Blueprint Racing Team with driver Jim Guthrie, we built our own Aurora V8 engines. The engines were built with zMAX in the assembly oil and was used in the motor oil on all Dyno runs.

We would conduct multiple full power runs with overnight cool down periods over a 3 day period. This gave zMAX time to soak into the metal and start working. After the third day, we were obtaining an additional 6 Horsepower.

When at the track and after running the car for the day, we would bring the car into the pit and remove all the Spark Plugs.

We would then spray zMAX into each Spark Plug hole and bump the motor over so zMAX would coat the Cylinder Walls,Pistons/Rings and then let the metal cool overnight. The performance of zMAX in our race engines achieved better consistency over time.
There are products that will Help maintain your engine but The bigest thing is regular maintenance. Personally I will stick with Quality Oils and premium filters with the occasional fuel additive such as Sea Foam. Also running quality gas will help too.
