Default go-pro and other mountable cameras

the wife got me a go-pro cam. for my bday, pretty excited to use it and get some action videos from outside the car.

just curious as to where other people are mounting their cameras..front of car? rear? sides?

im thinking im just gonna mount mine facing forward, maybe attach it to the t-top glass...looking for creative suggestions as well..

We sell them at my store and we have one that we use all the time with our customers. Ive put them on the doors, on the nose, on the t-tops, and on the roof facing backwards for awesome burnout videos.

Some quick throw together videos in front of the store:

Camaro 402 Burnout

Kyles Vette

Franks Nova

Deans Mustang Smokey Burnout

Just made this one this weekend. It was my first using the GoPro as well. It took me a little over an hour to throw this together

nice vids..sound quality dosent sound too bad neither..

anyone using the high strength suction cups to mount their camera in different spots, or just using the one stick tabs that come with your camera..

Since we use ours for the store and we put it on tons of customers cars, we pretty much only use the suction cup. so far we had it past 220 mph at the track no issues.

I use Windows Live Movie Maker. Pretty easy to use. This is my friend's 'Cuda I filmed with my GoPro.

Damn, really? I have a Contour HD with the same suction cup mount that I bought to use here in the sandbox. I've only had it mounted to the inside windshield of my truck, but it doesn't seem to wanna stay put. It may be the ballistic glass.
