Pretty much this time of year Ill prepair it for winter but ill still take it out maybe once a wk if theres no rain, snow, or ice. Its been 40s here up until today which is freaking 15!!!

Im itching for a ride its my only day off. So what do ya say...driving it when its this cold out isnt really gonna hurt it is it?! Hmmm?! lol

as long as the roads are not wet with salt and snow imo its fine, tires just dont grip for crap when its this cold, i can fry them from any mph lol, i say if its clear out go for it, honest ill take mine out if its dry out

I totally agree with you. I dont usually drive my car less than 50 miles at a time. I wanna make sure and burn off moisture in the system. I just dont like the idea of shutting the car off when its below freezing though. The expanding and contracting of parts. Suspension when its frozen going over bumps blahhh lol.
Im probably thinking about it to much.

I don't have a cold weather limit, but when the salt starts hitting the road is when mine gets parked. Just remember cold roads and a happy right foot don't always play well together.

-3 here this morning, hate the cold. Anyways, driving it in the cold won't hurt anything, just give it alittle extra time to warm up. Cold roads mean no traction so keep the "spirited" driving to a minimum.

Personally my car gets parked in the garage sometime in Nov. and comes out in late March/early April depending on how much rain there is to clean the roads.

Once the first salt hits the road I park it and pull out the battery! Even though it hasn't been snowing until the last 2 days here and I could've been driving it the past couple months . I just don't feel like going through all the stuff I did to store it in the garage, just to take it out one day

I drive mine all year.. Just not in snow and salt... I don't winterize mine either. I don't see the sense in it, next week it could be 50 and sunny.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's the fact that the tires are cold that causes the lack of grip in the cold weather, not the road being cold. That's why if you watch a NASCAR (or any type of car) race, the combination of a cold surface/hot tire creates the best grip.

How and when I drive my cars depends entirely on the car. I place different restrictions on each one. Actual air temp doesn't concern me too much, it's more about rain/snow/salt conditions, and/or where I'm going and if I'm willing to park a certain car there. The '98 and '71 always get packed away for the winter, and don't come out until spring. But I'll drive the '02 on nice days in the winter, there is no reason not to since it used to be a daily driver anyway.

Well, we have had some mild winter weather up here so far, but lately we haven't even been reaching highs of 35*. However, as long as it doesn't snow or ice over, I drive my car everyday, it's not going to hurt anything. Don't get me wrong though, even though I daily drive it back and forth to college 40 miles everyday and everywhere else I may go, I meticulously keep the car spotless and stay on top of maintenance so it doesn't rot around me, because exposing a car to the different extreme elements all day everyday will definitely do it.

mines a DD bring her out snow or shine. last week we got 7in of snow. i drove to work in 25* with no heater. damn clogged core.
