Default just got engine installed

ok i just got my lq4 with ls3 heads, ls3 intake, and a fairly large cam. But here the problem i can start it up and let it idle and it fine but once it driven just a little bit like 20 feet the idle jumps to 2500-3000 rpms it isn't dyno tuned yet but it has a tune put on it to make it run from the guy thats going to tune the car. So I'm not sure what the problem is?

does it stay at 2500-3000 or does it go up and down?

just drove it again its stays at 3,000 rpms now. before i could turn the screw out on the throttle body and it would stay down until i drove it and now I'm out of room to adjust the throttle body. Any ideas?

from what i understand the l92/ls3 heads don't need a large cam. can actually hurt performance. did you select the cam yourself or did someone spec it for you?

no idea if it relates to you're problem though....

i guess "large" was a bad description lol it was spec'd for the l92 ls3 heads and I think i got it figured out the idle adjustment screw tightens its self up and raises the idle so i just have to find a way to keep the screw in one spot

Set it and hit it with some low strength loctite.
