Default 7k to spend on bone stock 01 ta

So I have a stock 01 ta a4 I'm looking to modify I have 7k to spend the 3 things I looked at were a head/cam full exhaust converter intake manifold throttle body air lid the package was stage 2.5 ls6 with ms3 cam from Texas speed which came to 7k with all nessesary parts or a procharger d1-sc with injectors and pump from brute speed with no other mods or lastly a maggy kit from hawks third gen. Just want to hear your thoughts I'm not sure between the h/c or procharger. Thanks

I my self would go with the supercharger, you wont get the as much from H/C/I if its bone stock. Plus its easier to get better deals on H/C/I later on, that will provide much better results since you would already have the supercharger.
Not to mention if you do decide to get H/C/I + later, in between the time you do, you could take the time to build your trans and rear end (and internals). Because adding H/C/I to the supercharger would definitely hurt your rear and trans.

I have a stock c5 auto with a d1 and it is a blast.
Its a lot more fun than any hci car I have owned.
I would also look at huron speed turbo kits.

8 psi of boost with a ProCharger will normally give an increase of 140 rwhp, while retaining excellent driveability. Bob

We've seen an extra 200 rwhp with 8 psi, cam and good exhaust system. Bob

If I could do it again I would go D1SC hands down. H/C is fun for a bit but a year later your gonna be looking for another 100hp somewhere.

Since you not sure on which route you're going to take I'd really consider spending your money first on upgrading the transmission and at least a 12 bolt rear, along with a TA relocation trans mount and TA.

If I was to do it all over again I would have done the procharger. Could of had around 100rwhp more than I have now with a much more streetable vehicle. Don't get me wrong I love my setup but I feel FI would have been a lot less headaches.
My next setup will be FI.

With a budget of 7k id personally do the procharger or maggycharger. Procharger seems more info\support friendly. That budget will acyually workout well with the extras needed, fuel pump etc. Daily driver reliability and street manners, with kick in the *** power. And down the line a meth kit

With 7k id do exhaust, converter, drag radials, and pieced together procharger kit with ebay front mount. How do you plan on driving the car?

If it were me I would do headers, ory, catback, intake, ported throttle body, underdrive pulley, suspension, stall, and depending on where I was after all of that I would look into a rebuilt trans, stronger diff, and a cam

FYI, keep in mind that you WILL need to do the supporting modification I listed above, probably sooner than later when you go with Forced Induction. Furthermore, I'd still recommend a better cam and at least have the Factory heads mildly ported since the benefits are greater with Forced Induction than without. More power with less boost is always a good thing!

The supporting mods are the bitch w/ FI not so much the turbo setup...id start with a good H/C/I build.
