Default I'm going to get numbers for shorties

So I bought pacesetter headers with cats that turned out to be magnaflow and a slp y pipe for $260. I plan on getting them on before winter or in the spring. I am also going to most likely get the bbk intake manifold. Mattering on cost I would like to get the car dynoed before the manifold. Then I will get the car tuned. For the price I paid I know I can get my money back if the numbers don't work out. I have base line numbers of 326hp 326 tq on a 2000 ss with 45,xxx miles.

They are pacesetter shorties but I'm going to get hp numbers after they are on. Everyone hates on shorties and some think they are not bad. So I would like to see what the gains will be since you never see any numbers, I'm hoping for 10-15hp tops.

I agree that with just bolt ons that it won't make much difference over a good shorty header...at least not enough to warrant the hassle and expense

So you are saying that I will not get 10-15 hp from the pacesetter shorties and slp y-pipe? I have a slp lid, potz tb, lm2 and that got me my 326hp. The car will be a bolt on car only.

Do you plan on doing the same dyno...before and after? Otherwise you simply won't know how much you've gained

Yup same dyno baseline of 326hp at slow hawk with lid, potz tb, and lm2. Does anyone have numbers that prove 5-7, I have seen dyno charts with corvettes getting 7-8hp and there manifolds are better, so why would I not get more?

I will try to find a page I found it was on a 04 gto that got around 15hp from shorties with a dyno chart. It was old do it going to take me some time. I will also like to find that corvette one too. I just thought for $260 I couldn't go wrong. They have pacesetters have the carb plate so if the do nothing on the dyno I'll sell them and the cats have to be worth something.
