WS6 A4 or M6 Sleak Beak?
I keep finding good deals on M6 cars that arent Ram Air, I love the ram air, but I think I want an M6 bad enough I would forego the WS6 to get the T56...I know you can find them. Im just not getting lucky as of yet.

If you really want a WS6 M6 keep lookin their out their. I have a non WS6 T/A and loved it and added a ram air hood I was happy with it, but just realize it will NEVER be a true WS6 no matter what you add to it, alot depends whta you wanna do with the car, if you just wanna keep it fairly stock hold off for the WS6 but if your planing extreme mods then just get the normal T/A b/c you will probally change the other things that make it a WS6 anyways

I agree with starz, it depends what your plans are for the car. The WS6 looks amazing and very aggressive, but the regular TA still looks amazing(well to me anyways) and you'll feel less guilty about modding the suspension and that! Get the Tranny you want, thats the most important thing aside from the cars overall cond/milage/price

I would say wait until you find exactly what you are looking for. That way you will have no regrets. If you must buy something, the main thing you should be concerned about is the transmission. It is a lot easier to add a hood than a tranny.

It took me forever to find a NBM 6 speed T/A with the right price, and it just happened to be a WS6. Personally I would just by a T/A and then get the hood later.

I would choose the M6 over the WS6 A4. I have been lookin for a M6/LS1 TA or Formula for a while now. I cant seem to find the higher mileage ones that Im looking for. I guess most of them are sold locally in the southern states where you can drive a f-body year round. anybody lookin to sell a LS1 M6 Firebird send me a pm

you realized your car will never have slightly larger sway bars, ws6 wheels/hood and a badge?
who cares.
its all the same thing, def. get the t56, i have a "sleek beak" and a TON of people tell me to buy the ram air hood, and i refuse to do it. i hate how they look from the side, and everybody and their mom has a ram air hood. i like to fool people with my sleekness, i've had a couple guys going thinking my car was a v6, until i started it and it loped like crazy
if you get the non ram air, you'll encounter ALOT of people who think it's slower, because it's not ram air, i say use that to your advantage.
or if you want, get a new hood, but if your spending money on a hood, do something new, ws9 hood, superhawk hood, firehawk hood(requires new bumper cover)...

I wanted a WS6 Ram Air when I searched for my T/A. Everytime I found one or called about one they told me it just sold. After 3 months of searching I settled for non WS6 and non Ram Air. The look has grew on me. I'm to the point now where I think it looks better without the Ram Air. Although, some T/A's just look BAD@$$ with them. I think you can't go wrong as long as you have the m6. And like others mentioned, you can always buy the hood later. I know I'd like to later on.

I bought mine as a Sleek Beak since I wanted a M6 and it was a deal. Plus a WS6 wasn't offered in this color. I just wanted a M6 TA so bad I wasn't even shopping for a certain color. I would have bought any color as long as miles were low and it was M6. I had the plan the whole time if I didn't find a WS6 to buy a Ram Air hood for it. So that's how it went down. Get the transmission you want. A hood and some used WS6 rims are cheaper than an A4 to M6 swap any day of the week.
