Are there not enough SSRs in the world?
or are they not welcome here? i believe u have yet to see one SSR on tech. i have driven more SSRs than i have seen on here, or on the road for that matter...where are they all at? not that i miss them, just wondering...

I actually got to drive quite a few of those. I worked in a detail shop in '05 and had the opportunity to "wash" (play with) Corvettes, SSR's, and the new Eclipses when they first came out.
Although I don't miss the job, I sure loved all the opportunities I had to drive some nice cars. After all, at the time I was driving a '89 toyota camry.

personally, i love the SSR's. the 400 hp versions were good for high 13's with a capable driver and a 6 speed. i LOVE the styling of them... given the choice of an LS2 M6 SSR and a vette, id take the SSR. at least theres nothing else like them.

I have to say, if I was to get a truck, I'd definitely want an SSR. The hard-top convertable is really cool, and all around they are very eye-catching. From my experience they're a joy to drive, but that opinion is coming from someone who is V8 starved.
