I agree it's no debate, nothing is even instone about the new camaro, first year cars get mark up have gremlins often cost a ton more.

Think about it a base v8 will be around 27 is the rumor, 27k is almost enough for a c5z06...

But really for what you want you need to say what matters more to you.

Honestly going with a cheap(er) tried and true is never a bad idea.

09s too far away for me.. if i were u i'de maybe go for a C5.. not one of the options.. but that's what I'de do. I wouldnt wait YEARS to get the camaro though. Whatever suits you, I'm too ansty to do that.

You have to find a SOM trans am though, as they are getting harder to find, at least up here anyway. Find a SOM formula, that would be sweet.....

I say skip both ideas. If you wanna wait til 09, just save up and get a c6 z06. If not, I'd go with the som t/a, but you better start looking for some now.

Id say wait out the first year if you wanted a new Camaro. Just to make sure you dont get screwed over like the GTO guys did.

My advice though..save money buy the T/A, and used left over $ for mods.

welll i was going to make a poll but i dont know how, and i figured it will be awhile until i find and SOM anyway so time wasn't really an issue. i dont want a vette i need the extra room (daily driver) i guess if i find an SOM for the right price ill probally get it if not the camaro both are awsome cars

Yea vettes are sweet but are a dime a dozen now and the camaro is going to recall city for sure.
