Default How much is a driver's seat worth?

Not sure where to put this question...so feel free to move it mods...My drivers seat is torn all to h$ll and looks like crap...My friend just totaled his '98 formula today and told me to shoot him a price for his driver's seat...It's in pretty good condition with not much visible wear or tears. So how much should I pay for it?

Will that seat match your interior? I'd look into having your seat re-skinned. That's gotta' be cheaper than buying a new seat, as I've seen them go for anywhere from $400 to $700, depending on the type of seat (power, leather, etc)...

I'd say 2-3 hundred would be fair, maybe even a little high.

Is it just the drivers seat? I would say between 150-250 depending on condition, usually the 4-700 is for the set with rear seats

If your friend doesn't have a price in mind, then just offer $50.00 and see if he takes it.

I had a full cloth interior from a '95 'bird that I just threw away last weekend. They're just too bulky to ship reasonably, and there's not a big market for used cloth seats.

I traded my buddy my Tan Leather all power front seats and rear seats for.

OFF Brand Racing Seats, 2 Simpson Racing Harness, and rear seat delete.. All where new.

So if he's a good friend make a resonable offer with out insulting him.

100-200 for just the drivers seat assuming it's leather, power and matches your interior.
