Do you refer to your car as an LS1?
I read alot and hear alot of people refer to their cars as LS1s instead of trans ams or Camaros. Personally I think its kind of funny because some people may have no idea wtf an LS1 is haha. I'm just curious is anyone else does this, because I've done it a few times myself. Don't hear it much with Vette' owners, GTOs, etc.

Fbody, or in the presence of other Fbodies, an Ls1 Camaro, or in the presence of other Ls1 Camaro's, an SS, or in the presence of other Ls1 Camaro SS's, the 35th LE, and in the presence of other Ls1 Camaro SS 35th LE's, I'll just point at mine and say that one...

all my friends call it "The LS1" lol... Or "The Z"
It's never really a "Camaro" to any of them for some reason, but I don't mind I'm used to calling it the "Z" or "LS1" now lol

I don't refer to the car as an LS-1, but I understand why some people would. After all, having one of the greatest V8 engines of all creation installed in your personal car is one helluva bragging right. Other car brand followers know LS-1 cars for their motors, also. For example a ricer will ask me what I drive and then yawn, but when I tell them what engine it has I get an "OOOoooooohhh..."

One thing that came to mind was if someone asks you what kind of car you have and you tell them "ls1", they wouldn't know if you got a 4th gen or a C5 lol.

I dont refer to it as an LS1. It just sounds weird, like when someone refers to themselves in the third person. Ive never new there was a 2004 Pontiac LS1, or a 2002 Chevy LS1 SS. Only time would be if your refering to the engine itself.

People always ask me "Man hat does that thing hve in it?" Then I say a LS1, they blink blankedly, then I say a 346, v-8.. waiting for a light to come on in their domes then say 5.7L.. they go oh, their so and so has a 6.0 in their truck. Chuckles.
So I dunno.. I usually refer to it as my baby or Rayven
