I tossed around the idea of selling my car, and then a trade proposal came up. It would be bone stock, a downgrade from my procharged trans am, but, its a corvette.. lol. I am wondering what input people have, which would you prefer. Vette or T/A?

Hehe I will go out on a limb and say that the ta is still the best looking car on the road. Maybe I have low rung tastes and such.. but ever since I saw them 9 years ago they have been my "dream car". I love the look.

I felt the same way as you did my friend. I dont have the full details on the deal, based on looks, a black on black c5, and i currently own a white ta, both are oh so sexy.

T/A is worth more then the Vette in my opinion - they are much rarer and will only go up in value - every grandma and rich punk has a Vette - very few people have a great looking modded T/A

Oh I defintiely appreciate the vette's look.. very nice looking car.. I just nut on TA's. I cant stop looking at the damn car hehe.

I cant even describe what it is about the car.. its just evil.. you just know its gonna come over tie up the dog and rape the cat till its hair falls out.

Sure you can get into the details of no comparison btw handling, build quality blah blah.. ones newer ones older.. blah blah..

it's so funny.. if i ever was given an exotic.. id just sell it.. get a ls1 and then mod it to all hell

I'm not a C5 fan at all.....now a C6 is a different story but in this case I would say keep on rocking the TA

C5's are a dime a dozen (if not more), at least around here. Personally TA's turn my head a lot more, and they seem to be rarer. Sounds like you already have a fun car, but if you're bored with it and are looking for something different, go through with the trade. How long have you had your car, and with the procharger? I'd go buy fun factor, personally. If you're still having fun with your car and have future plans for it, keep it, but if it's been a while with it and you're not doing much else, make the trade. Tough call though, either way you'll have a sweet car.

I will be keeping the T/A for at least one more summer season. I just bought it last year, and I am just now getting it to run right, found out why I got it sooo cheap, because the idiots that did the work on it before, had no idea what they were doing. Now that I am figuring everything out, and making everything work, its getting to be more and more fun, and I dont have to worry about blowing the car up. Time to lean the tune a little more, its at 9.9 afr right now HAHA and we should see quite a bit more power! Thanks for your input everybody, and have a lovely and safe holiday weekend, whats left of it anyway!
