Well, here she is, in final assembly mode. I'm going to have to take the headers and the intake off to put it in, but you get the point. I'm open to opinions/suggestions (all be it too late now )

i think the headers should be repainted since you took all the time to paint everything else. i would also paint the block of plates to match the headers but these are just my opinions. otherwise it looks great.

That looks really good. Congratulations on a job well done. I love that blue.
I do have a couple suggestions. These things can still be done, and are not big jobs. First, I cannot tell if you painted the TB or not. If you have not, consider painting it matching gray/silver. I hate oxidized aluminum, and I think a matte gray/silver would look better than polished. Make sure you get the cable “cam” and the cylindrical sensor body. Also, consider painting the upper belt tensioner pulley “cap” blue or gray/silver. The water pump looks to be either painted, or new. If it is new, consider painting it gray/silver also. If it is already painted, great. Definitely do something permanent with the headers. Either go stainless or ceramic coated. Consider replacing the water pump mounting bolts with chrome or stainless button head, or something that looks nicer. I think the water pump pulley would look better in gray/silver or blue.
Now, do not read these suggestions and think I am criticizing you. I am not. Your engine looks better than mine ever will. I am just giving you the suggestions/opinions you requested.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. The headers were originally coated, but the bottoms of them were all nasty. I just shot a quick coat of VHT 2500* silver over them. I figured they will be discolored by mile 500 anyway.
As far as painting the valve covers and the intake, with the coil packs on there (which are painted silver), it breaks up the blue nicely.
Thanks again.
