Buying another Camaro, Who do I finance with ???
Well im an owner of a 2002 NBM SS with 65K miles and I was looking for a SW z06 but i have given up since its been like 4 months and I havent found one for me. Today I ran into a good deal I believe, its a 2002 Red SS with CME exhaust, chrome 10 spokes, deck mat and I forgot what other option. The car has 4800 miles and it has an SLP lid with smooth belows and an SLP 85mm MAF. Car has also been lowered with Eibach springs. The owner is asking $22000.
Now, I went to my credit union who I financed my NBM SS with and I applied for the loan. Good thing is that I got the money, Bad thing is that, (1) they only finance 2002 models to 48 months, (2) they want me to open a checking account with them and have direct deposit in the amount of my monthly payments so that my payment is covered or something like that. I have Wells Fargo right now for my checking and I love the bank, Never left me down so I want to stick with them.
I really want this car but I need a place to finance for 60 months and also to let me make the payments on my own you could say.
Who did you guys finance with for car loans ??????
I want a no hassle place that I could apply with and get my money and be done.

Try your regular bank and see what they say.
I've had great auto loan rates from Chase and Harris.

I got approved by capital one auto finance.
They were getting ready to cut me a check when they asked me if I could show a paper trail stating that I make at least $1000 a month.
...well I don't, so they wouldn't let me have it.
I went to my local bank and within 1 hour I had a car loan at 6%.
I would try that. Good luck

Well guys I just came back from Wells Fargo and I got the approval on 22,000 at 8.34% which is a little lower than my other place but now the problem I have is that Wells Fargo, and even my other place, Are asking for vehicle information and well thats not a problem but what they do is look at Kelly Blue Book and they check out how much the car is worth there and then thats all they would give me.
So this car is 22K and the owner is not gonna lower at all, Im fine with that. KBB has the car at like $20,200 in excelent shape and thats all both of the places will loan me. I tried to tell them that the car is no longer in production, The car is really low on miles, and they are just rare overall because of the options the car has.
Now, this is getting really annoying. I just want a place who will give me 22K and thats it.
How's Capitol One ????? Are they like this or do they give you a check for the amount you ask and thats it ????

You'll have trouble getting a good rate financing a 5 yr old car for 60 months. I have good credit and like you said most banks would only do a 48 month. I went with PNC with a 5 or 6 yr loan I cant remember but it was around 11% I believe. Where my truck is at a lil over 5%
oh and I believe my car was about 2,000 over blue book but I bought through a dealer. They took care of the finance crap.

Capital One will definately finance it for 60 months or you can use Road Loans. Road Loans is actually a pretty cool deal. It takes a little longer with them, but their interest rates are a little lower and they will send a third party person out to the car to inspect it before you buy it.
