well the car was dirty when i looked at it. there was a few things i didnt like about like the cowl hood is off centered and the drivers headlight isnt in right b/c they took the nose offf the car to paint it. he has most of the receipts for the mods and the guy im buying it from is my best friends uncle.

You paid a grand more than I would have. If you value those mods (IE: you were going to do them anyway) then you did alright.

It sounds like a fair price, forged internals is nice

The bottom line is once you get it and drive it ***** out on a nice day it really dosent matter what it cost because that feeling is priceless

A bank doesn't care about what mods it has and neither should you.

True but how many guys have there cars on here for sale for months before seeing they won't get what they want for them? I was one of them. I had my car up for a few weeks and didn't get ****. With the gas crunch these cars aren't worth much.

BTW - Here in phoenix you can get a nice LT1 for 2-3K

Hey, I paid $7k for a 93 TA with 100k, so don't feel bad, lol. Mines pushing 380RWHP and is immaculate, newer paint, perfect interior, new 6 speed tranny, and has a Moser 9" etc etc. I couldn't have built the car for what I paid so I'm happy, and you should be too.

in most of the northern states f-body's go for good money still. i sold my '96 Z28 last spring/summer with 85k miles on it, t/a leather seats, fresh paint, opti, clutch, plugs, wires, Racetronix pump kit, New tires, polished SS 10spokes, A/L driveshaft, LCA's and panhard, SS spoiler and gears for $8900. Brought good money. If you don't mind paying that then it's a good deal, especially if you want to not have to do the building and work yourself. Who cares what it MAY go for. i think if you offered $7500-8k for it it would be good for ya. In the Southern(warmer) states they go for MUCH less~Cole~
