i would say that you are fine, the car will adjust enough for it to be safe. there are plenty of people on the board running full bolt ons without a tune, you will just be leaving a little power on the table...

You'll be fine. I've done it several times.

It'll definately be ok, these cars do a decent job of tuning themselves to bolt-ons.

i wouldn't worry about it, but a tune would be a good thing.

A tune will make it feel a lot stronger and give you some nice gains. I went from 357/369 to 368/383 with a tune.

Run it and post some times! Take it to the dyno and get a dyno sheet after your mods as well. You can get a tune if you want, but it is not necessary from a safety standpoint. If you are planning on a cam swap soon, they wait to tune until then. Have fun!

If your not adding anything major to your motor anytime soon, go get it tuned. It will really help the car out.

What he said. Because, more than likely, you are running a little rich. A tune will help to eliminate that.

I know this is a stupid question but what exactly is it that is being tuned? Is it just the A/F ratio or is there other stuff? Sorry to hijack.

Even if you do plan on doing some internal mods in the future you can get it tuned now. Most tuners will give you a lifetime tune so you can bring it back to them to get re-tuned and just pay dyno time.
