Default Got rear-ended PICS!

This happened about a week ago. So I am sitting in traffic waiting fo the light to change with about 20 cars in front of me and someone decided it was not a good day to use his brakes. A kid with his learners permit slammed me in his honda civic. Man I was pissed but I let off because he looked like he was about to cry. I remember my first accident when I was young so I was calm with him after yelling profanities into the air.

She goes into the shop on Tuesday and they need to pull the frame. I am also thinking about talking to the paint guy and getting CETA mod done in the back in gloss black, then eventually getting the black ws6 badge and blacking out the PONTIAC in the rear, the TRANS AMS on the sides and the front screaming eagle on the plate cover.

She rides fine except for the vibration from the loose exhaust, atleast the tips where saved, no idea how but there fine. His car is f***ed, the radiator is cracked in half, the bumper gone and the hood crumbled up, the AC is broke and she was leaking radiator and washer fluid all over, one headlight busted completly and the front chassis rail completely bent into the radiator. He got slapped with heavy tickets and was towed away.

I hope it all turns out fine, this car is my stress releif, I know most of you know what I mean.

yeah, left a 40 foot skid mark, he said his brakes went out and he had to use the hand brake, but those 40 foot skids were perfectly straight and anyone doing 30 or 40 and hits the hand break...well they would look a bit different

Damn, sorry bro that sucks. Looks like an easy fix on the car.
I suggest getting a neck and back x-ray see if anything looks out of wack.

yeah that sounds like bullshit.. no lane change out of it? no easing the handbrake rather than ripping? cmon .. thats someone who pry cant drive and most likely shouldnt have their license imo.

I am ok, i was just letting of the brake when he hit so the force transfer wasnt as bad, my neck and back are ok because i was of the back of the chair so my head dint whip. My body was in the perfect position for no damage.

She was freshly washed and the next day she was getting new rear tires. now I got to wait probably until next weekend to get her screaming again.

they will take about 3 - 4 days

when the front end was damaged because of a retarded pickup cut off, New hood, new front bumper and headlight covers and motors, it only took 4 days. They do great work and perfect fitment and color match up

Yea you might be ok, but we're in America here. Get yourself some settlement money even if you have the smallest cramp.

Isn't the wave in the front of the 1/4 panel an indication of frame damage?

You may feel fine but in 3-6 weeks pain may set it. I'd get some xray's for insurance, no pun intended.

Whenever I get in an accident I always leave in an ambulance for insurance. Besides, you usually get 50% of your doctor bill for pain and suffering.

I hope your car comes out as clean as I would assume it was before you got hit...
