Exclamation Help ASAP!!

Sooooo.... Pretty much to sum it up my passenger side rear caliper literally FELL OFF of the abutment bracket/rotor as I was going down the road tonight.... To make it easy for me in the morning I was wondering if anyone could tell me a part# or what bolt size/thread I need for the calipers to attach to the abutment brackets so I can get this **** fixed (i just need those two bolts). Sorry Barnat, my nice caliper paint job needs to be touched up now

I have had the calipers on for about three months with no issues... I took the car in to get an alignment and balance and two days later, my caliper falls off.. wtf.

I had the same thing happen to me, I was going 80mph and the front one fell off and wedged in the wheel spoke. Talk about a fun time. I can tell you from experience that you can pretty much only get those bolts from the dealer, any you get at a parts store with the same length and thread pitch will be a lower grade and probably wont last long.

If you/they can't figure out what the bolts are take one from the drivers side to have them match it.

Thanks... *I need to know what the torque specs are for those bolts if anyone can tell me.* I bought some hardened bolts from ACE that should work fine but my work wont let me off today to fix it... Damn them... Do you think I should throw some lock tight on those bolts when I put them in? I do not want this to happen again.

Well, I got the caliper back on and everything seemed ok and worked fine. Scraping wasnt as bad as I thought. I Put loctite on all 4 calipers just cuz. Hopefully I can get them off when I need to next time.

Glad to hear everything was not that bad.

You don't have to use loctite on the bolts, and I believe its around 20-30 ft lbs of tq. Just a good snug and thats it.
