Wrecked my car today
Raining hard on my way to work. Going about 20-30 going into a freeway, It got sideways, went off the road, ran over a small tree (Maybe 3 or 4 feet tall) and in to a ditch. It got stuck in mud so luckily it didn't flip over. As far as the outside goes, it's as perfect as it can get after going off the rode, and into a ditch. Just got it home right now, and will wait until tomorrow to check it out. I'm know nothing about repairs or anything so I'll check it out, and take it in. Anything I should be looking for? I turned on the car, and drove it to park it correctly after the tow truck left it, and noticed the gas gauge is showing me I have full tank of gas when I only had 1/4. Any help would be great guys.
Sorry for the poor spelling, and grammar. Typed it pretty fast.

Just got my car checked out, and NOTHING is wrong with it. Guy said I was one lucky mother*****. He came out, and said " Well there is only one thing wrong with it, and you need to go get it done asap" "It's dirty, and you need a carwash"
I probably got about 3 hours of sleep last night.

Yeah, not a fan of rain in these cars. I was slowly merging onto the highway in 3rd gear and got it sideways. Luckily, years of practice doing donuts in parking lots pays off when immediate countersteer is almost instinct.

The only time I ever had issues with Fbodies and in the rain were a 2 things I can think of.
- W/O ABS or TCS mind you. Driving home and it down poured on the freeway, I had completely bald Nittos (track day) and I had to slow to 45 mph.
- Driving too fast up a hill and hitting a "T" section where I ment to turn left and beat the light, I ended up skidding and had to back up, never hit anything.
Meaning, you just need to slow the **** down. If it is stick, up shift asap to keep the TQ down, and drive smartly.
I am tossing on a DRAG sway bar and that has nearly zero body roll so the *** end kicking out is more prevalent, I will let everyone know how that works out soon.....

I disagree strongly. You can hit a puddle just right, specialy if it has oil mixed in, and lose it. I was in 6th gear at about 50mph, and i did a 180. I was even driving smart. Things just happen sometimes. Not always driver error
