Is my A/C compressior going out?
I just bought a 1995 Trans Am, and I have noticed when I run the A/C my engine temp rises to 210 degrees. I don't know if it will actually start running hot because I shut the A/C off before it gets any hotter. Now, when the a/c is on it will blow cold for a while, then hot and then back cold again. I am wondering if the compressor is starting to lock up, any of yall have had the same problem or have any suggestions?
Also, If teh compressor does lock up will it smoke my belt? Those things are such a pain in the *** to put on!

Try to clean all the debris out of the condenser (and
radiator) first. Got plenty out of mine with way less
years on it. If the condenser is not throwing the heat
well, you may get to overpressure limit and cycle the
compressor.
