Y pipe + floorboard = driving me crazy

Y pipe + floorboard = driving me crazy
So I did a header ory pipe install this weekend and it seems if my y pipe is hitting my floorbard. Its REALLY annoying I was curious if anyone else has had this prob and or a good fix for it?...

They sell some sort hanger with i think some sort of hardened rubber bumper that keeps the pipe away from the floor board. You could also get it bent by an exhaust shop. I have something similar where it'll only feel like its hitting when i turn at low speeds.

poly motor mounts = the right way to fix it
the mount mentioned above is made by mufflex (TSP or thunder sell it), but it can put alot of stress on the welds of the headers since they have to absorb the torque

here's a easy fix and more of a bandaid.
go to a auto parts store and buy some heater hose tu a piece and put it in between the floorboard and pipe where its hitting.
also you might want to buy a clamp that way you can clamp the hose around the pipe.
this worked for me and has worked for many others.

i had the same problem with my y pipe, what i did is i wraped the pipe with heat wrap and then i used a piece of tire thread that a found on the road and cut it to fix between the floorboard and y pipe. and that fixed the noise. its cheap and it works. i hope these will help out.
