Default Lots of problems...

My car has a horrible cold start in the mornings to where it will die after its started. Then whever I finially get it to idle it will get down to around 300 rpms and fluctuate between there and 500 then around operating temp it will rev up to about 1200 for about 20 seconds then drop to 800 rpms and be fine unless I turn the heater on and sometimes whenver I put it in gear it will start screwing up again. Also, my ac clutch will engage sometimes and blow cold air, but ive noticed around operating temperature the ac clutch will engage then disengage and mess up the vehicles idle and continue to do this until I shut off the ac... and help will be appreciated. Thank you all.

That's a common problem with '64 Ford Falcon station wagons.
Have you checked the distributor hold down on your straight six?

"mannyman84" I own a 99 pontiac trans am, lingenfelter intake, 42# green top injectors, d1-sc ATI procharger, Racetronix fuel pump with racetronix wireing harness. It started doing this whenever I changed my CTS and lost coolant. I recently had it flushed at a dealership but its still doing this. could it be possible that because I mixed green coolant and dextron that its gelled up my system and perhaps messed up my thermostat?

Does it have a rough idle? Changing the thermostat would be a good idea. Check your injectors, my GTA used to do that. Injectors where bad. Well like 3 of em.

Well whenever I unplug my MAF sensor it runs perfectly, no problems, but im just worried that thats not the problem, because last time the car was messing up real bad I unplugged it and it ran better for a while but that wasnt the problem, the problem was a slit in the fuel pump hose. Im just not sure if I should get a greater air flow MAF because the one I have is factory.

First thing to do with the MAF is try cleaning it.

This is probably the key to your problem. Take any leads you have, and run with them. Try cleaning the MAF.
