98 TA wont start
My car was working fine last night. I went to leave this morning and my car won't turn over at all. No clicking or anything. I'm guessing it's the starter, but was wondering if there are any other smaller things that could cause this to happen before I drop 100+ on a new starter.

If it turns out that you need a new starter.....get this one. DO NOT get an OEM replacement.
These starters have TWO long bolts and are much stronger. My OEM starter broke about 2 months ago and it ended up breaking my engine block mount. This starter keeps that from happening, plus it only costs $65.00. I got one of these as my replacement.

It turned out to be the dash gauge fuse. I replaced it and it cranked, but as soon as I put down the e-brake it blew again, so I guess there's some electrical problems going on.

I think I've got it figured out. My right front blinker is busted from the previous owner and the socket is corroded and whatnot. I think it's causing my gauge fuse to blow. I guess that's the reason the previous owners had taken out the turn signal fuses.

corroded sockets dont cause fuses to blow. that causes resistance, IE a slow blinking light, or a light that doesnt work at all. there is a short to ground, or too LITTLE resistance. what that happens, current (amps) go through the roof and the fuse blows instead of the wire harness burning up/catching on fire.
