Default high idle problem need help

Hey Everyone,

i've got a problem with a 35th aniversary 2002 Camaro SS convertible 6 speed.

The problem is that the engine will idle high when the car is in neutral and im coasting. it doesnt have high milage, and i can figure out what it is.

i was looking on line and i think it could be a ground issue but does anyone know what it could be? has anyone delt with something similar... maybe a list of things i could check.

Thank you all,
Fotis Yarufalie

Stock tune does that on 6 speed. Especially with the A/C on.

Mine did that after the cam install. Turned out to be a vacuum leak on the pcv system.

Can you elaborate? I have searched high and low for a vac leak. I am M6 and I am running stock tune.

Thanks!
