Unhappy stupid question

So this is a pretty obvious question, but I just wanted to check. The other day my brake lights went out, but the light on the spoiler still works. However, my hazards and signals still work. I'm thinking that it's probably due to my brake light switch going out rather than both of my actual brake light bulbs blowing correct?

Signal wire for high mounted brake light runs separate after the brake switch. Problem could be in your turn signal switch, or the wiring.

There is NO chance you burned out 4 brake light bulbs at once.

alright that's what I was thinking about the bulbs. So another stupid question, I guess the main brake lights and the spoiler brake light have different components that make them work then?

Your brake switch is obviously working if the spoiler brake light comes on. Check the attached picture.

On your turn signal switch on the column, check for 12V at pin "P" (the light blue wire) when the brake is applied. If you have power there, you will need a new turn signal switch.

additionally check all your bulbs, if one is bad or burned up and can send a ground loop back through the system and it wont operate correctly. replacing a burned up bulb can magically fix other bulbs on the same circuit... sounds crazy, but I've seen it.
