Help! Abs inop, brake, serivice vehicle light on and ses light as the title says, the abs inop light, brake light, and service vehicle light is on. the ses light is on too and has thrown the codes P1336 and P0453.
can anyone help with the 2 codes or the abs inop, brake and service vehicle lights. thanks for all suggestions.

I have read that it can be a wheel sensor too.
I have more than those on in my car right now, hope its not going to cost me a fortune in the end.
You might be able to find out what those codes are online or at a dealer. They might be willing to help you with that without charge.

You will have to have someone check the codes in the EBCM with a scan tool that can read chassis codes otherwise you are shooting in the dark. The P1336 means it hasnt learned crank variation and needs a relearn (has to be performed with scan tool). Have you recently replaced the crank sensor or PCM or anything else? The P0453 is a fuel tank pressure sensor code. Possibly a bad sensor or wiring to it.

Bingo...it needs a crank sensor variation learn procedure done. Cant be done without a scan tool that has that feature. Some tuning software can do this as well.

No, you must perform the procedure with a scan tool otherwise the P1336 code will keep the SES light on.
If you dont learn it, you may sacrifice fuel economy and/or possibly have misfires. I would find someone with a scan tool and ask how much they would charge you to perform the crank variation relearn procedure. It takes longer to access the function in the scan tool than it does to actually perform the relearn, which typically takes about 10 seconds. Very easy to do.
