Default Huge situation with exhaust!!!!

well i own a LT-1 Camaro, i have a rattling problem coming from my exhaust, my passenger side header is hitting on my stock k member and making a really ba drattle, it also dented my header. i was going to switch out my stock k member for an after market k member until i was told that the k member will not stop my rattling noise and will still hit my header. i was told that there is no fix to this even if i get an after market k member? does anyone else have this problem or have a solution to it?
Were i got my info from my boss because he has tried everything and he knows a lot about these types of cars.

What is the state of your engine mounts? If you say they have never been changed they are likely nearly disintegrated.

K members aren't going to fix this problem, at least not fix it correctly.

I don't understand. If they are worn out it doesn't just put the engine back where it is supposed to be, the engine rocks less as it is running. For the LS1 cars we almost all install poly motor mounts with our longtubes so they don't bang around.

What brand headers do you have? Are they touching the K-member with the engine off?

I know a lot of the guys running Ebay headers have to grind the k member down some. Could you grind the front of the k member? What part of the header is hitting and where?

Yeah I might try that as well. If you think new engine mounts would lift the motor at all and move the headers off the K-member slightly it might help. Maybe a combo of both.

Motor mounts will more than likely fix the entire problem
