Default Signal lights won't work. Some advice please.

I have a 2000 WS6. My signal lights have quit working. Started out only the right would work then all stoped working. A few months later would work again and have quit working again now. All of the bulbs are good and work. I also replaced the flasher under the dash. When I put the hazard lights on the rear ones flash but not the front. Like I said neither signal works. Any advice would be very appreciated.

it is common for the plugs to burn up/corrode from the heat the drl/ts lights make. I had to replace mine for this very reason

To diagnose the issue, you need to determine if your DRL's are working and if the lights come on when your parking lights are on.

Yeah the DRLs work. Just won't flash. When I turn on the hazards only the rear lights work When I put on a signal nothing flashes, the light just glows brighter on the indicated side. Replaced bulbs and the flasher under the dash and fuses are all good.

Nope. If the parking lights work and the DRL's work and the flasher works, then the culprit is likely a bad DRL module.

The DRL module contains relays that mix the DRL function and the turn signals/hazards on the front lights.

i had the same symptoms as described and it was the plugs. They weren't making contact with the bulb all the time.
I replaced the plugs and I haven't had a problem since.

i had the same issue...had to get under there and jiggle the wires so there was no tension on them. for some reason the wires were very tight and caused my turn signals/flashers to be very erratic and/or not work for days at a time. loosened em up...made sure they stayed loose and havent had the issue since.

I'm having a similar problem and want to try to confirm the cause. The driver's side front turn signal stopped working last night. I changed the bulb per usual, but no luck. Here's what I found out:

turn signal, hazard lights, and daytime running lights don't work

parking lights work and the bulb comes on when I press the button on the fob.

Is this a plug problem or a switch problem?
