I just bought the 98 ta love it .. But the check engin light turned on with these codes P0131 p0137 p0151 p0157
The o2 sensors have been replaced and it still shows up.... I was wondering if the pcv might cause this .. I heard the pcv system on these cars are shi$ any help or suggestions would be very helpful.. Thank you!!

and i just read somewhere that could be the fuel pressure regulator??

also when i drive it ... when the ses light is on it stumbles real bad under any kind of acceleration...

so please if anyone might be able to help i would be most greatful

The PVC system is perfectly fine for normal driving.

These codes are either due to a short circuit in the O2 sensors or a super lean mixture. Since every one of our 4 sensors is reporting a problem, its probably a global issue with air-fuel vs. an electrical problem.

So, either you are getting too much air (not likely) or to little gas.

You should probably start by changing the fuel filter If that doesn't help, or even regardless, you should have the fuel pressure checked.

i checked for vacuum leaks couldn't find any yet.. and my fuel system is 60 psi and 50 psi at higher rpm..

oh i posted the first one on my buddies account.. this is my account... sorry

Ok ..
I cleaned the mass air flow sensor
I checked fuel pressure 60 psi all the time
I ran injector cleanor threw it
..

Only mod is borla exaust

..

Anyone have any other ideas why all 4 o2 sensors would run the codes previously stated?
Thank u for your help

There are lots of really odd things that could be happening (leaking air in to the exhaust stream before the O2 sensors, bad intake valve, etc) but it would be really rare to have them happen on both sides at once.

I'd start by getting the car on a lift and tracing the O2 wires and make sure there isn't a cut or melt.

Any chance RTV was used on the engine ever? If a sensor safe RTV was not used, these things can also happen.

do you think that it would be worth to bring to a dealership and pay the diognostic fee? then fix it from there? or are they just going to tell me stuff i already know? that its the o2 sensors lol?

tommorrow im going to try and throw it up on a lift to see if it is the o2 sensors/o2 sensor lines

P0131, P0137, P0151, P0157 codes that are popping up

alright i also just deleted the pcv in hopes it was just a bad vaccume leak but still stumbles and hesitates like a mother...so all i can think of is

mass air flow messed up
spark plug wires
egr vac leak
maybe a short in the o2 sensors wires
o2 sensors

any other things you think might be able to fix this would be very appreciated

Your list seems good. A shame to pay for a diagnostic before you can do a visual inspection of these things first.

BTW - If I were in your position, I'd probably take a bat to the knees of the person who sold me the car!

if it's not the fuel pressure regulator, then look into cleaning/replacing the EGR.
