Battery gauge shaking ??
Ok so this morning going to work , I look at my gauges and the light was on because it was dark. Anyways I notices the lights on the gauges flickering a little, just enough for me to notice .. Nothing crazy.. They would be regular then dim a little then regular then dim.. It did that the whole way to work, an everytime the gauge lights dimmed a little the battery needle would be above the low mark, and below the high mark . So right in the middle, but it would be very shakey .. Like it wouldn't drop to low at all , it would stay in the middle just be shaking right there.. And I also when u was driving maybe 5mph felt the car a shake just a little.. Now what could this be? ? The details are my car has 40k miles and the battery is a optima red top , that I had for maybe 2 1/2 -3 years.. Never gave problems.. I also have a stereo system ..but never gave any problems with taking power .. And this all started ever sense it's been getting really cold.. This morning was 34* .. so I am not sure if it's the cold? Or the battery? Oh and the other day I went out in the morning to try and start it and it did not start, it clicked .. Like the battery was dead, so I popped my hood and tighten the negative and positive bolts and tried to start the car again and it worked and gave no more starting problems till this day ..

Bump ok I was driving home from base and notice at idle the car is a little over 13 , then when I am driving and my foot is on the gas it goes to the white line before the red .. So is this the alternator ? Or battery? So at idle it's fine but when I am driving and giving it gas it goes to the white line before the red area towards 18 doesn't go into the red though.. And I feel the car shake a lil very little . But still can feel it
