Default Anyway to wire the column to toggle switches so I dont need a key?

Want to keep everything working but I want to get rid of the key and hook up the ign/acc function to just 1 toggle switch.

Here is a quick paint. Can I run a switch, one side to 12v and the other to the acc wire and will that work?

interested in this also, wouldnt u need to do the Vats resistor bypass to start the car with the switch and not the key with the resistor in it?

If you do a search, you'll see many threads for making a "push button start." Just replace the push button with a momentary toggle switch and you are done.

That has nothing to do with what im trying to do. Wiring in a push button STILL requires a turn of the key to turn on the acc, im trying to bypass the key and run a toggle switch.

So, are you trying to avoid the 2 or 3 switch setup that race cars use and have it all in 1 unit? If so, I'd think finding that switch would be the biggest challenge. (I've never seen one.)
