HELP pls.. been trying to remove my balancer for almost 2 weeks. Borrowed a puller kit, put it on and cranked down on the bolt. When i do it looks like the cracnk shaft is going to rip out the front end.

Yes, i removed the crank bolt, i tried using the puller that you thread into the harmonic balancer, and also the puller with the 3 arms (that grab onto the balancer), and still nothing. After saying screw it, i put the bolts back in and the belt back on and tried to crank the car, it sounds like something is loose. by the way its a 1995 trans am. Thanks

When you pull it leave the crank bolt in a thread or two and just keep cranking the puller. My lq4 was so corroded it did the same thing but eventually popped when the rust broke free.

My crank shaft seal is leaking, my question is this: When I remove the Harmonic Balancer, will the hub come off also or just the Harmonic Balancer? Thanks

Just the balancer will come off. You have to remove the hub seperately.
