Default clunking noise

Okay I have this clunking noise that occurs every time I go over a speed bump or small bumps ...their was alot of cabin road noise I took it to 2 shops and it was brought to my attnetion it was a wheel bearing that needed replacing on the rear passenger side.....so I replaced it and the axel shaft just to be safe with all brand new parts .........now that took care of the dull roar part but not the clunking which it still does just not as bad either .... so could the clunking be something else ?

Check your exhaust, this was my issue. i also opened the hatch, got in the trunk and jumped up and down to trace down my clunk.

Could be that the bushings on your shocks have dryrotted and now you have movement in your shock assembly.

Ill have to check the shock assembly.....but no Im not lowered everything is stock....I dont think im bottoming out because these are small speed bumps the larger longer ones dont cause this.......and their still is road noise just not as bad now that I replaced the wheel bearing
