Exclamation window problems

So my passenger window was going up n down slow till it completely stopped so i replaced the window motor with a brand new one i bought from ebay. Then 2 weeks later it completely stopped working it just went out out of no where. I tried getting a window switch but still nothing. What can it possibly be? wiring?

Can't tell exactly what the problem is from here but I could guess. Many aftermarket motors are shoddy and do not have the power to deal with an old mechanism. Make sure the tracks on the regulator are clean and well lubed with white lithium grease. Use an AC Delco or ACI motor, they are of good quality.

The old motor probably was just hitting the thermal
cutout limit and if this was due to drag in the regulator
mechanism, the new one might have the same problem.
Back torque raises current trips the breaker inside the
motor. The limit value is stupid low and maybe the
new motor is even stupider.

I've had many "new" motors over the years that turned out to be duds out of the box. IMO - Buying a new design Dorman motor from a retailer offering a lifetime warranty is the only way to go.

That, or rehabilitate the stocker - which is probably fine
other than the thermal breaker, and can be reused with
a few minutes' worth of disassembling & soldering, grease
and reassembly. Of course there's now a chance that you
could hurt anybody dumb enough to put an appendage in
the window while you're closing it, but that's between you
and Mr. Darwin.
