Default LT1 Camaro Power Seat Rail Sheared

So I heard a loud pop driving my Camaro the other day and the noticed the seat came loose. I traced it down to the power seat rail, but I have no idea what the part number is. I was looked at AutoZone and RockAuto, but couldn't track it down.

It's on the driver's side closest to the door. Anyone have a part number?

Seat rail sheared

Thanks!

That's interesting. Any signs the car has been in a crash before? Maybe one of the other bolts on the seat wasn't tightened and put stress on that point?

It looks like there is another non-OEM bracket bolted underneath the seat bracket. What is that? That right there would be the cause of your failure.

Interesting - great catch. Just the weight on the seat could have caused it to shear.

Inquiring minds want to know what that bracket is for... I'm not sure that nut/washer is original, either.

IMO - This is a great type of part to get via salvage.
