Have you checked them since you have put them in?

No SES Light, the computer isnt reading any missesand if it shows any it shows between 2 and 6 randomly and then it goes to 0 anyway on most of the cylinders from waht i saw- its not reading misses its like normal but you can see that it is missing. It's not nearly as bad as the day before but its still there. Especially on Deccel when in lock-up. after hard driving (which feels fine still barks the tires in all gears) then you progressively stop at a light and the idle will struggle a little and go back to normal its kinda weird too since it will miss and you'll feel it miss while idling every so often itll be smoothe for liek 10-20 sec then miss

It was missing much worse Prior to the to new plugs i had 3 plugs that were damaged basically had little to no gap in them. It they were all gapped @ .055 since they are NGK TR55's as wella s the ones in there right now. This is why i asked how to check the coil packs, it doesnt really make sense to me at all. all the new plugs and wires are perfectly fine jsut like when i got them i dont really understand

You should try pulling off each coil pack one by one and starting it if it gets worse then you know that coil is good if it doesnt change when you remove one then you probably found the problem.

you get a "leak Master" its fill s the lines up with smoke tofind a vacuum leak, thats the way to find a vacuum leak. If you can FEEL the misfire..i think your in trouble.....

So To The Top everyone....

What are symptoms of a bad coil pack(s)? Whats the best way to check?

The car after heavy use and then a good brake seems to surge a little. drops under 500 RPMs and then goes right back to normal with a very minor miss that the computer does not detect- not even when loggin it in. Does that sound more like a vaccuum leak by chance? What would be best to check

Thanks everyone i really need answers to all of the above!

anything electronic, usually the computer should pick it up, if its this bad, the computer would flash the ligh telling you of misfires, So for it not to pick it up, has to be something physical, like mechanical not linked to the electronics per say. im guessing you did a search on bad coilpacks? its rare one goes.

how many miles are on ur car? this doesnt sound like a fuel or spark problem. sounds more like an air problem. the PCM is VERY good at picking up improper fuel or spark. but not nearly as good as finding unwanted air. or it could be as simple as this... if u have over 35000 miles, u might want to do a seafoam treatment. after time, ur intake will get gunked up with PCV gases and it will make the incoming air tumble and make ur car run like *** down low. such as coming to a stop sign or light and taking off from a light or sign. try the seafoam, u have nothing to loose. however, if u do the seafoam, change the plugs AFTER cuz it will make ur plugs useless after its done.

I had something kinda like what you are describing right after I installed a Vigi3600 stall. As I would slow to a stop, it would pull the idle down so low, that it would sputter and want to stall. I just raised the idle up a bit and the problem went away.
