Default Front end creak

I have a 96 Trans am and whenever I turn the steering wheel either way I here a creeking sound from the front end. Either way I turn it its the same sound. It still drives straight just the noise. I was wondering if anyone had any insight to this before I have to jack it up and start looking for problems.

Bad ball joint, maybe... The factory parts aren't greaseable.

So they arent greasable. I was kind of wondering if that was it, but I guess its not possible.

Likely it's your sway bar bushings. Try greasing them. I have a similar issue. Greasing them this weekend.

Does it do it 100% of the time, even after driving for a long time?

As the rubber parts start to dry out a little you can get some of this, but it should go away after a few miles. If it sticks around then you should probably get under there and take a look at everything in the front suspension, ball joints, strut mounts, sway mounts, etc.

ya it does it almost all the time, its only really noticable tho if you really jerk the wheel from side to side at a slow speed.

Just found out my issue is the lower balljoint. Will get it replaced soon enough.
