Default Gatorback Belts?

Probably gunna be replacing at least my AC belt soon, are the gatorback belts much better? Worth the extra $ or should I just stick with the factory ones.

I use the GatorBacks on all my cars. Worth the extra money? Not sure, but on the other hand, I've never had to be towed home.......

Thanks guys, I'll probably just spend the couple extra bucks on the gatorback belts and hope they solve my horrible squealing, although I think its probably one of the 19,000 pulleys. lol

Dayco makes a belt that just like the Gatorback but a little cheaper. Its called a Poly-Cog belt. The design looks the same...

I just put a gatorback in for my serp belt ... I actually think it makes more noise than my old belt... (it does -not- squeal) it was like $7 more than the generic.. and the only one that was in stock..

Gatorback is worth every cent. There are machines at my work that have gator belts and they last forever. One gatorback is cheaper than endless amount of other junk. Just my $0.02

I've put them on prior vehicles and never had any trouble or squeals out of them. They tend to give a whining sound, but that isn't loud or a big deal. I'll likely buy some when the time comes again.
