I've changed out my fuel filter maybe 3 or 4 times since I bought my car. So that works out to about once a year. My 02s are stock as well

with my new fuel system i'm not sure how often to change the filters, i have a 40 micron and a 10 micron canister filter on either end of the pump so i'm not sure how often to change those, but i wont be driving it as much or using the same gas as you are.... guess i should look into that...

I wouldn't freak out about it, I first changed mine around 30k and it was running fine.

according to GM you don't need to replace the fuel filter.
Too old O2's will throw a code.

For you guys that replaced the fuel filter: have you opened them too see if they were dirt?

you don't have to open the old filter up to see that they are dirty, just take it, bang it agains the ground (on the horizontal side) and then hold it upright and let the fuel inside it drain out, you will see how dirty the fuel inside is. you DEFINATLY need to change the filters on a regular basis

ALLIGHT!
You guys were right: the fuel filter was full of crap: that was the original filter... 65'000 miles ago.

Fuel pressure changed by 4 PSI too I may have to correct my tune a little.

Thanks - Stefano

every 10,000 miles. If you wait to long with a dirty filter, your Fuel pump is working overtime and may die prematurely...This goes for any car.

As for O2 sensors....A good rule of thumb would be every 25-30K.
