A/C Question
I just bought this car a few months ago and I'm just now using the A/C.
It seems to take a while to get cold.
It is possible that even though it only has 35K miles, it could already need a refrigerant re-charge??
Thanks.

It was 96 here today in Jax and to me the car never got comfortable, only drove about 20 miles though (also sits outside in the sun). Check the temp coming out of the vents on MAX AC and temp all the way down. When the refrigerant pressure gets too low/high the car will shut down the compressor and you won't get any cooling at all.

Temp coming out of the vents will vary depending on ambient air temp and humidity. Unfortunately the AC performance chart in my Helms only shows the MAXIMUM discharge air temp for given conditions, and varies about 20* between 55 and 96-105 just on outside temp alone. MAXIMUM for 86-95 degrees/above 30% humidity is 68*.
